Welcome back.

We've been busy, quietly, preparing for this - bigger, better.

Yes we are happy to be back too.

New platform

Underpinning our new platform is a top-tier, hyper dynamic and scalable webinar system. We expect it to set the foundation on which Indian hospitality takes charge of this new era-defining growth.

These are lofty goals, nothing less will do. It is why we took so long to re-emerge post COVID-19.

Ready for tomorrow

Since our founding in 2014, we have created and managed the most impactful, socially-oriented programmes in Indian hospitality.

Our focus is always on top quality, actionable content and its impact. You've experienced some of our work, you've just not known it's us.

Tomorrow has challenges none have experienced before. Success will depend on collaboration. So from us, expect a diverse range of online and offline programmes, large and small. You have a thought, a topic, to improve our trade, we are your ally.

From this website you will soon be able to register and attend our online events, the first of which will be listed before the 79th anniversary of our tryst with destiny.

Meet your host

Alan DMello

Founder, X Events Hospitality

Hotelier, storyteller, re-explorer, chef.

Add troublemaker par excellence. Alan has spent his entire career in hospitality, in and out of the kitchen, that's three decades. In this time, his work has been with Indian and global organisations, local, national and international governments + trade groups and all stakeholders in-between. He prefers to stay away from the spotlight to get work done at the grassroot level.

He has spent a large portion of the last decade working to strengthen India's hospitality education sector.

A bawarchi by profession, Alan considers himself fortunate to have witnessed the rebirth of this sector in the late nineties and involved in many of its landmark moments and developments since then. He comes from a family of freedom fighters and social entrepreneurs. He is proud to continue in that tradition. Alan is an iconoclast.
